HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!

Well, Happy Birthday yesterday!! My mom is a wonderful person who I can only hope to end up like.  She is such a wonderful listener, cook, counselor, grandma, caretaker, supporter, and so much more.  I don't know how many times in my life she has been there for me.  Mom you are truly so great!!  Thank you so much for all you do!!  I don't know what I would do without you!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

We had IndiANNA Jones and a cute little cheerleader this year.  Halloween is just  oh so much fun (if you are 4 years old)!!  The weather was actually pretty great this year thank goodness.  Me and Mike whipped three of those pumpkins out in about 15 minutes.  That is my kind of pumpkin carving!!

We also went to Medieval Times because Anna loves knights and sword fights.  She was the best flag waver in the building.

We took the girls to Disneyland the week before Halloween and had so much fun!! Fall is such a fun time to go there!  

PUMPKIN PICKING

For the past couple of years my dads cute neighbor lets him bring the girls over to his fun garden and pick out a pumpkin. Most of his pumpkins are quite large and Anna really gets a kick out of it. So this year Anna, Cate, my dad, Mike, and myself drove over there and Anna picked out these two beauties. They were so heavy we had to drive my dads truck back to the garden, and then they had to roll them up two boards into the back of the truck. This is turning into a really fun memory for Anna and Cate. Thanks dad and thanks Brother Noble.

Happy Birthday Grandma Jan!! We love you so much.  Thank you so much for all you do for us!  You are such a wonderful person.  We hope you have a great birthday!!

TIS THE SEASON

Baseball playoffs are going to start and I cant wait.  My team didn't make it again and neither did Mikes, but thats OK because we are just fans of the sport.  I cant wait to pick a team to cheer for!!  I love October and not because of Halloween.

Goodbye to our sweet Grandma Garrard

Our sweet little Grandma passed away early wednesday morning.  She was going to be 97 years old in only 6 days.  She lived a long wonderful life, and we are so blessed to have had her in our lives so long.  Our little family had the opportunity to live with this sweet gal for about three years.  I am so glad we had the chance to get to know her so well!!!  She was always making us food and making sure we were taken care of.  We will miss her so much!! We love you Grandma!!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!!

Yesterday was my seventh anniversary, and I cant even believe it.  We celebrated by going to the cheescake factory, and then stayed at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake.  We had a lot of fun just relaxing and watching the Olympics.  I just want to tell Mike how much I love and appreciate him.  I guess time flies when your having fun!!

We had so much fun in Hawaii this last week with our family.  Twenty one of us went altoghether, Mike and his siblings make seven, four spouses, eight little ones, and his mom & dad.  It was so fun and relaxing.  The beach was one of my favorite parts, but all those pictures were taken with a different camera.  Thank you so much to popsy he makes it all possible for us!! Enjoy the pictures I will post the beach ones later.  To the Healy family I love each and every one of  you!! Thanks so much for a great time!!!

Shoes

Ok my little one Cate has got a bit of a shoe problem if it wasn't so dang cute, I might be insane right now.  First thing every morning she finds shoe's for everyone to wear. She wears her shoes all day long and if you take them off she has a freak out!!! This morning I looked around and all of us including Mike were in underwear with shoes on. It was hilarious!!!  The other day my sister in law Lynda came over and did not have her shoes on and Cate was so concerned.  Dont hang around Cate if you like to be barefoot.  Shoes only at our house right now!! I will get a picture of her and post it real soon!!! 

GIRLS CAMP 2008

Well I just got home from girls camp yesterday, and I must admit I had a blast!!!  It was so fun to be camping number one, but the spirit you feel up there in the devotionals and testimony meeting is so wonderful.  I fell in love with all the young girls, there are so sweet!! I am so excited to have 37 new babysitters on my list!  They all kept telling me they wanted to babysit my girls when we got home.  We had lots of fun activities, we repelled, tubed to river (so fun!), went for a 7 mile hike, and so much more.  Thanks girls and leaders for a great time!  Well if you ever get called to be a camp director it's a lot of work, but it is so worth it!!  

NOTHING BUT HAWAII ON MY MIND

So every year we go on a trip with the Healy Family.  This is a picture from our cruise to Alaska last summer.  We had so much fun!! These are Mikes sisters (minus Sarah, sorry sari I couldnt find one of all of us) except I claim them as my own because I love them all so much!! Anyways we are headed to Hawaii in a few weeks and it's all I can think about!!  This time we are taking 8 kids under the age of seven.  I feel bad for whoever sits by us on the plane.  Well team Healy I cant wait for more times like these!!!  

WHAT THE....?

Cate woke up during the middle of the night on friday and was coughing hard and was having a hard time breathing. So I took her to the doctor on Friday morning where she threw up on me and the doctor. They suctioned out her nose and tested it for RSV because she was wheezing really bad. That test came back negative so they sent it for further testing. In the meantime they put her on a steroid and sent me home with a nebulizer. The poor thing was so sick all day Friday all she did was sleep in my arms. Saturday was a little better but not much. They called me today and told me her tests came back positive for rhinovirus. What the heck is Rhinovirus? They said her oxygen levels were OK so to keep up the breathing treatments until her cough goes away. If she gets worse at all bring her directly back in. It's a lot like the common cold it just gets in their lungs and makes it hard to breathe. I feel like I cant win with this little stink the poor thing gets sick so easily. The breathing treatments are awful because she hates them and screams the entire time. I feel so bad because I have to restrain her arms and legs to even get it done. I just feel so bad for the poor little thing!!

18 MONTHS OLD

Cate was 18 months old on the seventeenth and cant believe it.  She is totally cracking us up lately.  She is like having a parrot around these days, no matter what you say she try's to repeat it.  Here are a few fun things she says:

I love this little stink so much she is a little snuggler and I love to snuggle.  Oh yeah thats another one of her words nuggle!! I am so lucky to have two sweet little girls!

I CANT BELIEVE I DID IT!!

I am an assistant director for girls camp this year and one of the activities we are doing is repelling into a cave. We wanted to go up and try it before we actually had the girls do it.  Ok, so this is terrifying when you are afraid of heights and claustrophobic. Two others went before me and I didn't think I would do it, but I did and I must admit it was pretty fun!!  The hike out the bottom wasn't as much fun because the water at the bottom of the cave was freezing!!  So I am totally proud of myself tonight!! Yeah for me!!
